AICON is Asia-Pacific's flagship consumer AI festival. Two days of hands-on AI, built around one idea — AI for Everyone. It's less a conference and more a festival you take part in.

Is this the first one?

It's the second edition. The first ran in October 2025 as AICON x BeyondXpo.

Who organises it?

Accepted Answer

It's organised by the Artificial Intelligence International Institute, with CreativesAtWork, DEAR.AI and Virality Group as co-organisers, and *SCAPE and L^ife as our venue partner.

What does "AI for Everyone" actually mean?

That AI shouldn't only be for tech people. We build the whole festival so that someone with no technical background can walk in, try the tools on their own work, and walk out having actually made something.

What's the difference between Day 1 and Day 2?

Accepted Answer

Day 1 is the AI for Humanity Impact Forum — strategy, governance, investment, the bigger picture, aimed at leaders and policymakers. Day 2 is the public open day: literacy, creativity, hands-on workshops and the festival side of things.

Is it a trade show?

Accepted Answer

No — deliberately not. We've moved away from exhibition booths towards hands-on zones where you build things rather than collect brochures.

Question 9

Do I need to know anything about AI to come?

Accepted Answer

Nothing at all. No coding, no prerequisites, no assumed knowledge. A lot of our visitors are coming precisely because they feel behind.

Question 10

Do I need to get a ticket or is it free access? What is the difference between ticketed and free?

While non-ticketed attendees are welcome to browse the event floor, access to conference sessions, interactive activities, hands-on workshops, goodie bag redemptions, and the Lenovo lucky draw is restricted to ticket holders only.
